My Baby's Green: i play. Review and Giveaway!

Though it is first priority to protect what a baby puts in it's mouth, It is also important to protect young children from exposure to harsh chemicals in their external environment as well. Children are most susceptible to harmful substances during pregnancy and early childhood. During this time they are vulnerable to elements in their environment, and should be protected as much as possible from exposure to potentially harmful substances. The first priority for growing babies is to make sure everything they put inside their mouths is healthy, safe, and promotes the development of a strong immune system.

I was asked to review three products from i play:

Itsy Bitsy Organic Romper-V-neck, lap shoulder yoga romper with bottom snap closure. Easy on & off. Organic cotton knit with print. Machine washable.

If it came in a larger size, this definitely would have been one of my favorite rompers. The cute designs, the softness, and made with 100% organic cotton which made the weight of this romper heavier than most others. This would also look cute with iplay's coordinating leg warmers for the cooler months. What I would like to try is the YOGA videos that iplay has to offer. What a great way to bond even more with Gracie.
At first glance you may think it is inside out but that is just the way they stitching is. The seams are on the outside which add a unique touch to the romper. The only downfall was that even though I was sent the largest size (24months) it was still a little small for her. I am pretty sure that was due to Gracie wearing cloth diapers but since I didn’t have any disposables I could not test that out. Because of the lap shoulder/v-neck opening I was still able to get it over her head, but just not able to snap it properly. Once I took off the cloth diaper the romper easily snapped leaving her plenty of room but of course that led to her having a bit of an accident :)

These were such a cute addition to the romper and even with Gracie’s chubby little legs there were no lines left on them after wearing them-yet they stayed on. The little grippers on the bottom were a blessing in disguise. We have hard wood and tile floors so when Gracie decided she needed to start trying to walk, these helped her as much as they could!

Non Spill Sippy Cup- BPA free! This sippy cup is designed to keep your baby’s beverage from spilling. Trainer Spout nipples are gentle on baby’s gums and soft-grip handles are removable. Dishwasher safe. 6.5 oz.

It's important to find a sippy cup that works for you and this one worked really well for Gracie who is now 10 months old, with 10 teeth! It was easy to clean and not at all complicated like some of the sippy cups that are out there. That is one thing that has really bothered me-purchasing sippy cups to only find that they have little parts that are either hard to clean or a pain to put in which in turn make make things more complicated than I have time for. The soft spout was the perfect solution for her sore gums because when she wasn’t taking a drink, she would use it to teethe on. She liked to turn the cup in her hands just so she could reach “the spot” that was bothering her the most. The spout has really held up and you want that especially when going green/organic does cost a bit more. In my opinion, it is well worth it. Gracie first started with the removable valve in place but progressed to not using it at all. A great feature to have but beware because without it you can/will have a mess. Gracie liked to hear the liquid when she would shake the cup and then of course it would shoot up into her hair, on her face and wherever else it would land. She had a ball! I obviously choose to use the valve when we go somewhere but otherwise I let her have at it. Even though messier, the experience was and still is great for her.
