Zehn Naturals-100% Organic Tee

There is so much more behind Zehn Naturals than their tees that I feel the need to share as much as I can without overwhelming you with info but first I need to let you know what I thought about the tee itself. 

My Take-Even though reviews/giveaways are great for Gracie, I really was excited to be getting to review something for an adult for a change.  So much so I lined up a few more :) 

I had a little difficulty making sure of the size so I emailed Hannah letting her know what I would normally wear and she chose the size for me.  When it comes to clothes and a few other things, the whole inch thing does confuse me.  Does that make me such a girl?  I can measure a room etc but when it comes to clothes... I know, I know, please, no comments about that.  

I ended up choosing the ‘Give a Hoot” tee and over the last few weeks I can say that I have enjoyed wearing it.  It felt good wearing something that actually meant something.  Something that I stood for. There are so many to choose from which makes it hard to choose just one!  I suggest starting with what you believe in most and going from there.  All of Zehn Organic tees are made with 100% organic cotton and printed with earth friendly inks.  It has held up through many washings but more importantly it didn’t shrink the dryer, so now my sons will want one as well!  Adam, my 23 year old, has such a hard time with his tees shrinking.   Even though he air dries the majority of his clothes there are times that he needs to use the dryer.  That is when he finds out that one of his favorite tees didn't pass the dryer test and can not be worn by him a again.  Obviously that is such a waste-he does try to rewash them and just hang to dry but that doesn’t always work.  Jesse, my 17 year old, ends up getting more & more tees this way.  One would think that saves me money but most of the time I end up purchasing another for Adam to replace the one he gave Jesse.

Our Story:  Zehn Naturals is an employee owned company.  We currently have three partners, Hannah, Len and Tiea.   It is important to us that anyone associated with Zehn experiences abundance of energy, love and properity!

Tiea’s Story: When I was two years old, my parents started a commune in Acworth, NH.   We lived our lives as simply as possible with minimal impact on the earth and in harmony with others.   We grew our own food organically, started a bakery where we made organic breads and granola and we lived in Octagons, Tipi’s, Yurts, A-frames etc…   My mother worked in the first natural food store in Keene, NH.    I have lived with and followed the principles that I learned at a very young age.  I received my Bachelors degree in Environmental Policy and then went on for my Masters in Management from Antioch.   I have worked for many years in sales and marketing for companies focusing on naturals products.  I found some wonderful partners and took the big leap of faith and launched Zehn Naturals.  Please join us in exploring life, learning, loving and treating each other and our universe with the utmost respect! 

Hannah’s Story: There hasn’t been a span in my life where I haven’t been drawn to creation. As a very young girl, I always pictured myself to be a writer. I was primarily focused on pursuing that career until I was a sophomore in high school.  At the young age of 16, I began to seriously devote myself to art and came to the realization of what I was born to do- create.  I managed to complete nearly every art course offered in school and began to realize that I could truly fall in love with art. For a few years after that, I focused primarily on building my collection of acrylic paintings while experimenting with different techniques. There is one thing I always make sure I do when I start creating, and that is to have fun!  I am pretty experienced in abstract acrylic painting, illustration, digital photography, graphic design & typography and definitely focused on expanding my skills in the future.  I was very fortunate to have met Tiea a few years ago when she asked me to join The Zehn Group, and shortly after Zehn Naturals was officially open for business. I believe that two great minds together will never stop creating great products and coming up with great ideas – it is simply a bonus that we are able to also provide products that are sustainable and also loved by our customers.
