Boon Inc-Flo Giveaway

First you may ask what exactly is a Flo?  A flo is a water deflector and protective faucet cover with a bubble bath dispenser. It comes in two colors-BLUE or PINK and I chose pink.  At Boon Inc there is a gallery of photos that show the flo and are definitely worth taking a look at.

MY TAKE- The Flo installs right out of the box similar to a giant clothespin and is easily removed the same way. 

The flo does fit some faucets better than others-On my tub spout it sometimes slips down to the end of the faucet and I have to push it back up, but I am ok with that. It seemed to stay on better when I dried off the spout first. It wasn’t a big deal-just took some adjusting. When testing it on Jesse’s tub it stayed on the spout very well.  I thought it would slip off  like it did on mine.  He liked that it didn’t need to be removed every time to turn the shower on like the soft blow up kind did. You can't tell in the pictures, but the lower white part is made of a softer plastic, and it extends outward past the hard plastic top, making it effective as a spout protector. 

A Flo diverts the flow of water, creating a gentle waterfall fun for older kids to rinse shampoo out of their hair) while providing a protective faucet cover to help guard against injury.  This is something I definitely could have used when my oldest son was a young boy. He had so much fun playing with his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that he would get a bit carried away and not watch out for the spout. I actually ended up wrapping a hand towel around it to at least offer him protection against further head injuries. Yes, one time was all it took for me, but not him. 

BONUS-serves as a bubble bath dispenser as well.  Now this feature is exactly what helped Gracie to HAVE a bubble bath. With us having a garden tub I have always had to move my hands back and forth under the water to produce more bubbles for Gracie. This problem has finally been solved and for that I thank Boon Inc. for introducing the Flo to me.  I now end up using less because now I see exactly how much bubble bath I am adding ( no more shock that a 1/4-1/3 of the bottle was used just TRYING to make bubble appear. 

Con-if you have bubble bath that is thick, they won't flow down the dispenser as well. I ended up having to sit there and hold down the dispenser button while the bubble solution SLOWLY trickled out. I solved that issue just by adding a bit of water in the dispenser with the bubbles to make them thinner.

In my opinion, any family with small children would benefit in owning Boon's Flo.
