Way Out Wax Giveaway

There’s one universal gift out there that almost every women on the planet would enjoy…the gift of candles! I used to light candles on a daily basis in my house especially in the Fall when the windows were open as well.  Even my hubby enjoyed being welcomed home by them.  I used to receive candles as gifts and even though each time it was a considerate gesture, I started to get a little more freaked out every time I used them. What exactly am I burning here that obviously goes into our bodies?  After several failed attempts to let it go and just let candles be candles, I gave up. So, is this it? Are candles now on my list of things that I have removed from my life?  I was really hoping they wouldn’t be because seriously, what more can we give up? When it comes to our health as much as we can and of course, whatever we can to go Eco-friendly! So when I received candles from Way Out Wax to sample I was simply overjoyed!

I have a thing for products scented with citrus so my favorite was Citrus Harmony-Orange Grapefruit, Clove. Awaken to the glow of sunshine. Stimulating clove and uplifting citrus revive a cloudy emotional state.  Even though mine came in a travel tin (which is a great idea to take when, what else, traveling), I placed it on my desk.  I chose to not light it right away but only to see if the scent would permeate the room if I just left the lid off and it did!  I think this would be a great thing if I wanted to place pillars or other candles in areas for that reason alone-just for looks. BONUS-it even took the smell of our little Yorkie's surprise that she left behind away as well. If I was hesitant at all  before, I was now hooked!  With the way the candle helped, I bet the Clean Air would be amazing!

Sweet Dreams- Lavender, Lemongrass, Marjoram. This soothing tonic for the nerves helps the body relax and release tensions. The calming aroma lends to a peaceful sleep. It came in a 3,5 inch tall, 3 inch diameter, heavy bottom, frosted glass votive type that I placed in the master bedroom. I really felt like it added what I needed to "make" me  relax after working on my websites all day. Could have been because it had been so long that I had used candles but I doubt it. Helping me to relax is what made me a believer.

Candles are made from 100% natural and biodegradable soy, not heavily scented to cause my allergies to flare up yet enough to softly fill the air of our living areas!  No toxins, no carcinogens, no panic-inducing smells—just fresh, clean and green. Nothing lifts the spirit and soothes the soul quite like the pure aroma derived from a plant's flowers, woods and fruits.

Way Out Wax also offers candles that are unscented-this is great for those that have allergies or for those times when you just want the aromas of dinner to do all the talking!

Now that my worries about candles have been put to rest, candles are back on my things to purchase AND receive as gifts (Hint Hint to the Hubby-I want to try the True Organic Candles) They would make a perfect hostess gift for the upcoming holidays or even to your child’s teacher as a big thank you for all they do for your child-a gift from Way Out Wax goes a long way!  No time to put together your own gift basket?  Way Out Wax has a few of those to choose from as well.

Did You Know?  That soybeans a renewable resource, grown right here in the United States and are also a great way to support American farmers! The best way to extinguish a candle is to push the wick into the wax pool (make sure to use a paperclip or a pencil so you don't burn yourself!). After dipping the wick into the wax pool, return it to a standing position immediately to enable quick & easy lighting next time. This eliminates smoke from coming off the wick.  Using the right wick (no metal!) and keeping it trimmed will help reduce soot. Candle dyes, additives and synthetic fragrances are the primary factors that increase soot and should be avoided (i.e. a soy wax candle made with dyes & perfumes will create more soot than one without those unnecessary ingredients).

  9. What a great company! The fact that they offer 100% GMO-free soy wax and 100% organic wax is really great, this is rare! The site layout is also really well done, the ability to choose the many different options is fantastic.

I love how Way Out Wax uses no additives in their candles and are 100% natural. It's even more appealing that their products are made in the US, Vermont to be exact!

I love love love this brand and have been buying it for years!!! I love their new site too! I have not been to it in over a year. It looks like a fitness site! LOL But I mean that in a good way. Its like their candles DO help you achieve mental and spiritual fitness without compromising your health like paraffin chemical rich candles can. I'm also excited to see that they are carrying more than just candles now! Wish I would have known about the bug stuff this summer! LOL Thanks for this giveaway!
