Do you have a great Eco-friendly product, website, or service you would like to get exposure for? Are you a local vendor or do you also own your own small business? I use to own my own eco-friendly e-commerce myself and quickly learned that I enjoyed helping other small companies increase their own traffic and to get their names/brands out there too. MBG followers are made aware that there are more choices than ever to help them on their road to lead a more GREEN lifestyle which is extremely rewarding to me!
With that said, I offer product reviews, reviews with giveaways and some giveaways only, that are either organic, hand-made, or Eco-friendly to parents, parents to be and others at NO FEE. Please note that currently i my household there is a Daddy, one son that is 24 years old, one son that is 18 years old and a girl who is 27 months old (potty trained) and then of course myself.
I do understand that this is not a perfect world in which we live in so there will also be some products that are not made Eco-friendly but instead in my opinion one of the best options.
There are FIVE options to be featured on My Baby's Green plus a GIVEAWAY from many vendors in the works. Please see the end of this post for further details.
Option 1: Product Reviews Only-A product review is a great way to get your product noticed by the visitors MBG gets each month. Products are used and put to test by either myself, my husband, two adult sons 24 and 18, or a toddler. For both reviews without/with a giveaway-A standard size product(s), not sample size, is to be sent to MBG and will not be returned. A product must be of full size (no samples); typically I request that items to be reviewed have a total value of $25 and up BUT if you have a different idea or are a relatively new company with limited funds for reviews/giveaways, please contact me or choose another option from below. A simple giveaway may be just the thing!
Option 2: Product Reviews with Giveaway-A product review offers followers an honest opinion while offering a giveaway is a fun, and inexpensive way to get your product/site noticed and increase your exposure rate. A giveaway as well encourages more people to read and share with others which is what this is about!
To enter giveaways, participants are typically encouraged to subscribe to newsletters, visit your site and comment what they learned/liked, follow you on twitter, “like” on Facebook, visit your site to comment on post, and bloggers who enter can even blog about the giveaway, plus more. Sponsors are responsible for mailing giveaways to all winners.
For this option I will need the following:
- Will this giveaway be open to US and Canada or nation wide
- A button size of your logo (125 x 125) for me to help you advertise
- What the exact giveaway is. If not a gift certificate, then the link to the item so I can grab the picture/description
- How many winners
- Any links to social networking site and store URL
- What would you like for the madatory entry? Please note that having twitter or facebook as one does mean many followers can not participate due to them not having either
- Any promotional codes you would like to offer followers
- Pictures needed in post can either be sent as an attachment or you can send me the link(s)
During the duration of reviews only (option 1) and reviews with giveaways (option 2), your company's logo/button (125 x 125) will be placed above the page fold, under the tab "sponsors" with the link to your site for FREE. If you would like to advertise in this spot longer, please contact me.
If you are interested in sponsoring a review with a giveaway, please include a note mentioning that items are for review.
Option 3: Giveaways Only-If you would rather offer a giveaway without an opinion included, this is the way to go. I make this option easy on myself by asking you to write your own post with links and pictures included. There is no cost to you! I will add the giveaway links with details that you provide. Please note: MBG links will be added only as bonus entries. Because I do not have to take time to test, review and do a write up, this giveaway can go live within a few days, possibly even the same day!

Promoting Giveaways-All posts will automatically post on My Baby's Green Facebook page, through RSS feeds, GFC and NetworkedBlogs. I will also post it and tag your company at least two more times. If you choose option 1 or 2, and wish for me to include the link to that post on Bloggy Moms and any other forums I belong to, please let me know. This does take extra time (I tend to forget) but I am willing to do so as long as I am asked. I do encourage you to promote as well so that your followers can also have a chance at winning or learning more about your company.
Mandatory Entries for Options 2 and 3-Please understand that if you are wishing only to increase your FB following and choose it as your mandatory entry, entries may be lower than others because not everyone has a FB acct. I suggest the mandatory entry be signing up for your newsletter, following your blog or visiting your site and commenting on what they found/like etc. Extra entries are typically signing up for your newsletter, following you on Twitter, liking you on Facebook, following your blog and some even have YouTube.
How long does it take? Depending on the amount of companies ahead of yours, a write up will typically be published within 3-5 weeks of receipt. Due to the timing of your review/giveaway and if you need it sooner, please let me know. I should be able to go live with it in 2.
How are winner's drawn? Unless you choose otherwise, options 2 and 3 last for approximately two weeks. Winner is drawn by random.org. If needed, I will contact you to verify entries before winner is contacted by me. Once I send the winner the winning e-mail, the winner has 48 hours to reply before I choose another. I will email you their contact information for you to follow up. All sponsors are responsible for shipping the prize directly to the winner.
Option 4: A Guest Post- Write your own post, links and pictures included, and I will post it for you! Simple as that. No fee, no reviews, no giveaways. Just keep it Eco-friendly, concerns about health issues mainly due to toxins, and/or family friendly! I post about different topics myself so as long as it fits, I will help you pass the word! If you have a promotional code that you wish to include, please do!
All I ask in return is if you have a site where you have your posts mentioned is to either add a link back to my blog or mention MBG on your FB and/or TWITTER pages, tagging @mybabysgreen. Doing this should help us both to gain additional traffic. Sound fair enough? If you have other ideas, please feel free to contact me. I'm open!
Option 5: Featured on Super Star Saturday! Go to My Baby's Green Facebook page on Saturdays for Super Star Saturday. What's SSS? Besides FREE advertisement, it's where Facebook fans and I post links to the coolest products/blogs/companies that they want to share. They can self promote, promote a friend or just add a link of something they think is awesome; all directly related to serving parents and/or kids. After all the links have been added, I post them on my blog for followers to see too! Links with the most "likes" will also be featured on MBG blog for free!
Advertising Premium Blog Space – If you want your company to be noticed by readers as soon as they land here, Premium Ad space is available at a very reasonable rate. With a premium ad, your company will always be above the page fold which means there is no need to scroll down to see your ad. Only 4-6 ads will be accepted at a time. Discounts are available for purchasing more than one month at a time.
Ad space is also available on both side bars, below the page fold at a reduced rate.
Once MBG's Facebook page reaches 4500 fans, there will be a HUGE giveaway with sponsors and even items from when I owned my own e-commerce.
